4 Signs And Symptoms Of A Drainage Problem

Presently there are millions of homeowners who are facing drainage problems at the same time. Problems such as water backing, drain clogging, basement flooding are some of the obvious signs of you having drainage problems. Apart from these there are several other signs to look out for. Here I would like to mention a few signs and symptoms of a drainage problem.

First of all, is your gutter overflowing all the time?  If so, then you must consider this as a high time to realize that you need to opt for gutter protection systems.  Now we all know that gutters are used to carry off rainwater, prevent leaks from the basement and many more. So it’s very important to protect your gutters.

Second, water stains act as good indicators for a drainage problem. If they are high on the foundation of all then it’s for sure due to overflowing gutters. And in case the stains are over the wall, they can even result in fluctuating water table.

Last, many of us tend to neglect foundation cracks, considering them as the reason of faulty concrete mix, inaccurate foundation structure but it can even be a sign of drainage problem.
